Video: Good Samaritan notices smoke, saves senior citizen’s life in house fire

We don’t yet know who the Good Samaritan was who saved a local female senior citizen’s life tonight, but we are trying to identify them.

Around 8pm, someone noticed smoke coming from the attic of a senior citizen’s house on Hilltop Drive in Kerrville. They went over and knocked on her door and it turned out, that she was already asleep for the night, in bed.

If they wouldn’t have ran over to check on her, who knows what would have happened. She was rescued, the call to 911 was made and authorities were notified.

Kerrville Fire Department raced to the scene and started working on putting out the fire. It appears to have a lot of smoke damage and we will get an update from the Fire Marshall in the morning.

Here’s a live video taken from the scene.

Keep checking back with KBN for updates on this developing story.
